Q: Does my venue allow fireworks?

A: It will be your responsibility to initially contact the venue and get their approval for a fireworks display. After they have agreed to host the show, Sunset Fireworks will co-ordinate with the venue on all details pertaining to the fireworks show.
 
Q: How much will it cost to have a show and how long will it be?

A: Displays are based on a cost of $500 per minute with a minimum of $2500 in the City of Calgary. A cost for a show located outside the city is dependent on travel costs.

Q: Do I need to do anything after I have booked Sunset Fireworks?

A: Sunset Fireworks trained professionals will take care of all permits, insurance, set up and clean up of the display.  You will need to provide a 25% non-refundable retainer fee at time of booking and final balance is due on the day of the show.

Q: Can I have the show personalized to match my event?

A: Sunset Fireworks can try as much as possible to match colours of the event and set the display up so you can shoot the first cue.

Q: What if it is raining on the day of the event?

A: A fireworks show can still be shot in the rain; it is up to you to make the decision if Sunset Fireworks should continue to shoot the show.  The only time Sunset Fireworks will call off a show is if wind or safety becomes an issue.  In the event the show is cancelled, we would consult with you to arrange an alternate date for the show.

Q: Can I have a video of my Fireworks Show?
A: Sunset Fireworks will not provide film of the show. We suggest that you contact your photographer or ask a family member or friend.
